Grapefruit Avocado and Fennel Salad

I recently shared a recipe for fennel salad Fennel and pear salad. Here is another interesting salad with his participation. In addition to fennel, another unusual ingredient is involved in it – grapefruit. This salad with grapefruit, avocado and fennel is very fresh and juicy. And thanks to the grapefruit, it is also so bright.

Grapefruit Avocado and Fennel Salad

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • Iceberg lettuce – 150 gr.
  • Avocado – 1 pc.
  • Fennel (bottom white part) – half a bulb
  • Grapefruit – 0.5 pcs.
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Ground black pepper – optional
  • Salt

Cooking process

Iceberg lettuce cut or tear with your hands. Put it on a plate.

Fennel cut into half rings. Add on top of the iceberg lettuce.

Remove peels from grapefruits and cut into segments. Remove the thin white skin from each segments. Cut into 2 pieces. Add to the rest of the ingredients.

Parmesan cheese is cut into slices with a special cheese knife with a hole. You can also cut it into thin slices with a vegetable peeler. Distribute it over the salad.

Grapefruit Avocado and Fennel Salad

Salt the salad to taste. Drizzle with olive oil. Or you can drizzle with a mixture of vegetable oil and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice.

Grapefruit Avocado salad can be sprinkled with freshly ground black pepper. It will add additional flavor and spicy notes to the salad.
