Carrot salad with feta cheese and coriander

I am sure that even one spice can make the most simple and uncomplicated dish very interesting. This salad is a perfect example of that. So, by adding coriander to an ordinary carrot salad with feta cheese, we get an unusual and very fragrant dish.

Carrot salad with feta cheese and coriander

Ingredients (for 2-3 servings):

  • Carrots – 2-3 pieces
  • Feta cheese – 150 gr.
  • Ground coriander (or coriander seeds) – 1 teaspoon
  • Sunflower oil, unrefined (or olive oil)
  • Lemon
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Cooking process

Peel the carrots and grate them. The best option is to use a vegetable peeler julienne. Then we get beautiful long carrot stripes.

You can also add Chinese cabbage to this salad.

Feta cheese cut into small cubes.

If you have coriander in the form of whole grains, then you need to grind it.

Gently mix all the ingredients.

Dressing our carrot salad with unrefined sunflower oil and lemon juice. If you do not really like unrefined sunflower oil, you can replace it with regular or olive oil. By the way, the amount of this or that ingredient can be changed to your liking.

If desired, the finished salad can be sprinkled with black pepper.
