Mango salad with awokado

If you enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and trying different flavor combinations, I recommend preparing this unique mango salad with avocado and mozzarella.

Ingredients (serves 2-3) :

  • 1 mango
  • 1 avocado
  • 100g mozzarella
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Fresh mint
  • 1/4 red onion
  • wedge of lemon
  • Olive oil
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Preparation process:

Slice the red onion into thin half-moons. Drizzle the onion with lemon juice or red wine vinegar. Let it marinate for 5 minutes. This will give the onion a subtle acidity and remove any unpleasant bitterness.

Choose a ripe avocado. Remove the pit, scoop out the flesh, and dice it into cubes.

It is better to use a slightly less sweet mango. Peel it, remove the pit, and dice it into cubes.

Slice or tear the iceberg lettuce.

Wash the mint, pat it dry, and finely chop it.

Halve the mozzarella balls.

Arrange all the prepared ingredients on a plate, lightly season with salt, and gently toss. Drizzle with olive oil. Optionally, sprinkle the finished salad with freshly ground black pepper, according to taste.
