Ingredients:

  • Chicken drumsticks – 1 kg.
Marinade
  • Onions – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Green chili pepper – 1 pc.
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Smoked paprika – 1 tsp
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
Breading
  • Breadcrumbs – 6 tbsp. heaped spoons
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Wheat flour – 100 gr.
  • Pumpkin seeds – 3 tbsp. spoons
  • Dried garlic – 1 tsp
  • Smoked paprika – 0.5 tsp
  • Ground black pepper – 0.5 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp

Cooking process

1 First of all, chicken drumsticks must be marinated.

The marinade will be a mixture of onions, garlic, chili peppers, olive oil, salt and spices. All ingredients must be chopped in a blender until smooth. We spread the resulting marinade to the shins and mix thoroughly.

Marinate chicken legs for at least 1.5-2 hours in the refrigerator.

2 While the legs are marinating, prepare the breading. Pour bread crumbs into a deep plate. Add dried garlic, smoked paprika, pepper and salt to them. Add finely chopped pumpkin seeds to the same mixture. Mix everything thoroughly.

Pour flour into the second plate. And in the third plate, break the eggs and mix them with a fork until smooth.

Moving on to the chicken legs breading. First, roll them in flour. Then we dip the shin into the egg. And the last – thoroughly sprinkle on all sides with a mixture of bread crumbs and spices.

3 Put the prepared chicken legs on a lattice greased with vegetable oil. We send the grate to the oven preheated to 200 C (392F) degrees.

4 Bake the legs for 35 minutes – until golden brown.
